Using the attached emergency firefighting time report and the scenario listed below, you need to complete the attached Time and Attendance Report for both employees.

Fire Assignment Scenario

There are two fire-funded employees – base 8, 9 or 10 paid out of 9131.

Firefighter #1 - Nonexempt:

  • Regular schedule is Monday through Friday (40/40)
  • 8 hours per day, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
  • 1 hour lunch – 12:00 to 1:00 p.m.

Firefighter #2 - Exempt:

  • Regular schedule is Sunday through Thursday (40/40)
  • 8 hours per day, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
  • 1 hour lunch – 12:00 to 1:00 p.m.

WEEK 1:

Employees work their regularly scheduled tour.

WEEK 2:

Sunday, August 14, they are called out to an off-refuge fire. They leave the office at 1400. They return to their regular duty station late Wednesday evening and report for work on Thursday, August 18. They work their normal schedule for the remainder of the week.
