The Migratory Bird Program Training Advisory Group (MBTAG) introduces a new online tool that you can use to plan your training needs. It was created from data gathered during a 2009 survey of all Migratory Bird Program employees and personal interviews. The matrix provides recommended training opportunities for Program staff across all jobs. To read background reports, survey results, and to use the Matrix, click here. We would appreciate your feedback on the usefulness of the matrix.

You are invited to participate in this occasional series of webinars that expand on our knowledge of bird conservation and management. We invite anyone from the Fish and Wildlife Service, our partners, sister agencies, and academic researchers to present topics of interest. To join the live presentation you must register through DOI Learn. To view the webinar schedule and listen to previously recorded webinars, click here.

To access reference documents used in the training course, Migratory Bird Conservation: A Trust Responsibility, click here. The resources include: key regulatory documents, fact sheets, bird plans, eagle references, and a list of useful websites.
