The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (Service) Ethics Program worked with the National Conservation Training Center (NCTC) to develop a new online ethics training course, which is a requirement for all Service employees to complete in 2013.
The Ethics Program and NCTC worked to make this training interesting and engaging by using historical facts and Service-centric scenarios. This course can be generally completed in an hour or less. Service employees, who are well versed in the ethics rules, should be able to complete the course very quickly.
To take the training course, Service employees should go to DOI Learn and type Ethics Orientation (FWS) in the search box. And for those Service employees who file annual financial disclosure reports, this training will meet your annual 2013 training requirements. If you have questions about the content of this training, please contact your servicing FWS Ethics Counselor.
