Climate Change Vulnerability Assessment (CCVA) Course Resources
Climate Change Vulnerability Assessment for Natural Resources Management: Toolbox of Methods and Case Studies - Kurt Johnson, National Climate Change Scientist with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has drafted this "living document" that is to be updated as new case studies and tools are identified. The purpose of this document is to provide a non-comprehensive survey of some of the principal CCVA methods being used today for: (1) species; (2) habitats; (3) places (protected areas, watersheds, landscapes); (4) ecosystem processes; (5) ecosystem services; (6) water resources; and (7) coastal resources. Case study examples are presented for as many of the methods as possible. Most of the text is taken directly from the abstract or methods section of the article/report cited.
Ecosystem-Based Management (EBM) Tools Network - Tools include methods and software/web tools that can help improve coastal-marine spatial planning and management decision making.
Eco-Adapt - Adaptation Tools and Portals - This is a sampling of adaptation portals and tools that help get you started. The list includes tools to access, analyze, and visualize existing data and climate projections; examples of tools targeting particular sectors or regions; and portals to help you find the right tool.
