Employee Rights

It is the policy of the Service to:

• ensure equitable treatment of all persons in all Service programs and activities;
• promote and practice equal employment opportunity at all levels of the work force; and
• to attempt resolution of all complaints of discrimination based on race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, status as a parent and protected genetic information.

Employee's Responsibilities	Supervisor's Responsibility
Must abide by nondiscriminatory practices in their own actions.	Ensure employees' adherence to nondiscriminatory practices.
	Effectively implement goals and initiatives in accordance with stated EEO program objectives.
	Demonstrate commitment and support for equal employment opportunity principles and human resources management.
