The Conservation Library provides easy access to curriculum-related materials, historic conservation texts, electronic resources and state-of-the-art delivery services.

The scope of the collection includes topics covered in all NCTC training classes with an emphasis on natural resource conservation, environmental education and conservation leadership.

Literature Search Service
E-journal and database collection access is available for FWS employees only via the
FWS network or a Pulse Secure connection. If you are looking for a journal or article that
we do not subscribe to, please request through Interlibrary Loan by emailing the
citation to Requests are normally fulfilled in 48-hours or less.

Conservation Library

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service’s national Publications Unit, headquartered at NCTC, handles requests for publications that are received and processed for Federal and state agencies, business, educators and the public. 

The Publications Unit of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is the primary distribution center for printed material published by this agency. We store and maintain supplies of different Service publications and respond to requests from the public for specific reports, booklets, brochures, and posters.
