Description

This 4 hour on-line FWS instructor lead/hosted course utilizes​ 4 short exercises which will guide existing ArcMap users through the fundamentals of migrating to ArcGIS Pro.
Using a format similar to classroom instruction, students will attend virtually using a live WebEx account with instructors leading students through a series of demonstrations and exercises.  

Students ​will ​work through​ the exercise on their own​ with the instructor(s) available for questions and live WebEx demonstrations when requested. Each individual exercise will take 20-30 minutes to complete. When finished, ​instructors ​will review the exercise, solicit questions, then move onto the next exercise in the series.

​Requirements:  

Students should have a good internet connection and the latest version of ArcGIS Pro installed prior to attending.​ The minimum computer requirements for using ArcGIS Pro are:  ​

  • Describe ​the capabilities and functionality of ArcGIS Pro
  • Transition from ArcMap to ArcGIS Pro
  • Define and create an ArcGIS Project​ (.aprx)
  • Create a Map ​
  • Add data to an existing project
  • ​Edit and symbolize layers

Target Audience:

Current users of ArcMap and new users to ArcGIS Pro.
